OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) Jaali Winters and the Creighton volleyball team are less than a month away from its first practice of the 2018 season.

Winters is currently listed number two nationally in active career kills with 1,392. Now, the CU senior is ready to go in her final season on the Hilltop.

"I'm enjoying it all but at the same time I know it's my last time with everything," Winters said. "But I'm not wishing anything away. I'm not trying to get to the real world anytime soon. I just want to enjoy everyday, be with my teammates and have a good time."

"Jaali's game is great," Kirsten Bernthal Booth said. "She's going to have areas that she can continue to get better but it's not dramatic things. Every player has areas they can continue to get better and Jaali would fall into that."

The Jays will host the Blue and White scrimmage on Saturday August 11 at 3:30 p.m. at D.J. Sokol Arena.
