University of Nebraska Omaha's Tre'Shawn Thurman was named Summit League Men's Basketball Player of the Week following his performances against Cal State Fullerton and Iowa.
Thurman earned his first career player of the week honor after averaging 17 points, 10.5 rebounds and 2 steals per game last week. He tallied 17 points, nine rebounds and three steals while shooting .636 in the Mavericks key 98-89 win over Iowa. Thurman also totaled 17 points and 12 boards with a steal and block against Cal State Fullerton.
After four road games Omaha is back at Baxter Arena Saturday, December 10th. The Mavericks (4-5) will face Montana State (5-4) at 7 p.m.
