On Thursday afternoon, the top-seeded Nebraska volleyball team wrapped up its final practice before opening the 2016 NCAA Volleyball Tournament against New Hampshire on Friday night at 7 p.m. inside the Devaney Center.
The defending national champions have the chance to win back-to-back titles for the first time in Nebraska program history. The three previous NCAA championship teams (1995, 2000, and 2006) all came up short of a repeat.
Nebraska finished the regular season at 27-2 overall and clinched the Big Ten title for the first time since 2011.
