Creighton Prep announced Tim Johnk as the new head football coach beginning with the 2017 season. Johnk will also serve as a member of the Physical Education Department.
Johnk had this to say about joining the staff at Creighton Prep:
“I am honored and humbled to be the next head football coach at Creighton Prep. I am very excited to build upon the great winning tradition that the legendary coaches before me have built and look forward to getting to work.”
Johnk comes to Creighton Prep after spending the past 11 years as head coach at Omaha Gross Catholic High School. During his tenure, Johnk led Gross to nine playoff appearances, including a Class B State Championship in 2012.
“We are excited to have Tim join the Prep family," Creighton Prep Athletic Director Dr. Dan Schinzel said. "His strong character and tremendous work ethic are a perfect fit for our football program.”
