OMAHA (KMTV) — The Creighton men's basketball team went on a 23-2 run in the 2nd half to put away the Huskers on Friday night in Omaha, 98-74.
CU's Marcus Zegarowski scored a team-high 22 points in the victory, while Teddy Allen had a game-high & career-high 26 for Nebraska.
The Huskers had 25 turnovers on the night.
NU trailed by four, 55-51, with 14:42 remaining before the Bluejays went on their big run that put the game out of reach.
The 8th ranked Jays begin Big East play at home next Monday against Marquette starting at 8 p.m.
