Fancy, delicious, and healthy. The new Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center has a white table cloth restaurant inside the lobby that serves creatively prepared and healthy entrees at really reasonable prices.
Nebraska Medicine hired an executive chef from the east coast to head up the effort and he is eager to let the Omaha community know about it. It’s creatively called “The Restaurant."
A couple of menu items are just $10, but everything looks and tastes like it should be more. All menu items are between 500-550 calories because we want to provide healthy meals to patients and their families who are visiting. The Restaurant is open to the public, so theoretically, you can come in and get free valet parking, sit down to a meal that looks like this, and listen to a Steinway piano play in the background.
