Former Omaha Police officer Ryan McClarty is expected to stand before a judge today in a pre-trial hearing for the in-custody death of Zachary Bearheels.
McClarty is accused of punching Bearheels 13 times, he faces misdemeanor assault charges.
An autopsy showed Bearheels died of excited delirium.
