OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — More than 200 volunteers with americorps have been deployed to Nebraska and Iowa to provide flood relief assistance.
They're divided up into both states, helping with clean up efforts and registering survivors for assistance.
"As those in Iowa and Nebraska begin the recovery process, we're committed to standing with these communities over the long haul, because in times of disaster you can count on us," said Gina Cross, the head of the Disaster Service Unit.
