OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Council Bluffs festival Loessfest traditionally takes place on Memorial Day weekend. This year, organizers say it has been postponed to make sure Tom Hanfan River's Edge Park "is dry and back to its original beauty for the festival."
This year, the event will take place over Labor Day weekend (August 30-September 1).
Loessfest is a free event and has drawn over 200,000 people since its inception.
