BELLEVUE, Neb. (KMTV) -- — A Bellevue computer repair shop owner is donating refurbished computers to flood victims that need a new one.

Steven Nickerson Sr., Owner of Affordable Computer Repair, has fixed up 8 computers so far for people who lost almost everything during the March floods.

Many homes in Green Acres and Paradise Lakes were deemed uninhabitable and many items were unable to be saved.

36 computers were given by an anonymous Donor to Steven and he has asked people to contact him if they’re in need.

“You see the same look in people's eyes when they've been through a crisis or trauma and you give them just a little bit of kindness they just light up," Nickerson explained.

Tina Brisbois lived in Green Acres and lost everything. She's still working to find a permanent living situation but says this is one less thing she'll have to worry about.

"I'm totally grateful I mean seriously it's a blessing that there's people like you out there willing to share what you've got and help us out when we really need it,” Brisbois described.

If you were impacted by the floods and would like to receive a refurbished computer, or if you’d like to help there are several ways to get in contact with them. You can go to their Bellevue location at 2219 Franklin Street, visit the Affordable Computer Repair Facebook Page, or call 402-953-0001.
