Rep. Cindy Axne visiting Pacific Junction

PACIFIC JUNCTION, Iowa (KMTV) — Iowa Representative Cindy Axne will join a local volunteer organization to help Pacific Junction homeowners recover from flood damage.

Axne's visit will start at 11 a.m. today at the Pacific Junction Fire Station. Axne will connect with Pacific Junction Mayor Andy Young, fire fighters and volunteers.

From there, Axne and the volunteer group will head to a house in the city to help homeowners clean debris from flood damage.

Mills County is holding a town hall meeting on Wednesday for flood affected residents to discuss possible rebuilding. The meeting will take place at 7 p.m. in Glenwood.
