OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The Salvation Army Council Bluffs Corps is set to host a unique event Friday related to ongoing flood-relief efforts.
In collaboration with Dr. Melissa Harrer and friends from the Animal Clinic of Council Bluffs - the Corps plans to serve as the venue for a pet clinic specifically for families that have been affected by recent flooding.
The clinic is Friday, April 12 from 10 a.m.-noon at the Council Bluffs Corps (715 N. 16th St.)
The offerings at the clinic include:
- Heartworm preventative
- Flea and tick preventative
- Feline leukemia tests
- Vaccines
People wishing to bring their pets to this clinic should call ahead to make an appointment; the number to call is 712-328-2088. No walk-ins will be accepted as space is limited.
