OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The Salvation Army Western Division will open a third metro-area Disaster Resource Center at 9 a.m. on Thursday, April 4.
This new center will be located inside the former JC Penney store in Bellevue at Southroads Mall at the south end and will focus on serving the Sarpy County and Cass County communities.
The new center will join two other recovery center's already in operation. One is near 84th and Center, and the other in Council Bluffs at 715 N. 16th Street. Three centers allow residents in all parts of the metro greater access to aid.
The Sarpy-Cass DRC will serve as a distribution center where people in need can come to pick up flood-relief items.
