OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The beginning of the year is typically a popular time for new resolutions - especially with fitness and wellness goals. For those in the Omaha metro, a local company offers meal prepping to help reach your fitness goals.

Food Bros., run by three brothers, is an online meal prepping service. It started off as an easy way to avoid the drive-thrus and provide healthy options to help keep you on track with healthy eating.

"Everything is fresh coming in. Our food lasts right at seven days. I always saw order what you cane at for the week, Monday through Friday," said one of the owners, Jon Bosh.

The company offers protein-rich dishes with a variety of vegetables as sides. They also provide comfort foods like lasagna and meatloaf.

Food Bros. is not a storefront. Everything is done online.

Here's how their company works:
You order online at their website before midnight on Wednesdays. You go through their menu and select what you want from their 60 meal options.
Customers can order individual meals like breakfast platters, steak and brussel sprouts, or chicken, green beans and potatoes. Nutritional information for each dish is available online.
For those that like to cook on their own, you can buy food in bulk.
You check out and pay, and ta-da! Your meal prepping for the week is complete.

The company orders the food on Thursdays and is delivered to their commercial kitchen near 156th and Maple on Fridays. On Saturdays, crew prepares and cooks the meals and packages them in microwavable containers.
Customers have the option to pickup their meals on Sundays from 11AM-3PM or they can have meals delivered to their home or business on Mondays for an extra $10.

"Our prices are very competitive. You can get a chicken and vegetable dish for right over $7.50. What's neat is customers don't pay taxes because we are not a storefront," adds Bosh. "So for those that think cooking their own meals might be cheaper, by the time you go to the store, get all ingredients, dirty up your kitchen, put everything in containers, spend several hours on a Sunday cooking - well, Food Bros saves you time and money. Plus I'm able to buy things in bulk so I can get food less expensive. Customers will be surprised at the level of quality and quantity we provide with each meal."
