OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — In May of 2019, KMTV 3 News Now launched its weekly Cheap Eat$ segment which features local restaurants in the Omaha metro that have good food at affordable prices.
Morning Anchor Maya Saenz is the face of the segment. She alongside her colleagues, Photographers Sean Kelly and Mike Simmons, highlighted 26 restaurants in 2019. From food trucks, BBQ, frog legs, tacos, to big milkshakes, the Cheap Eat$ crew showcased many of the options Omaha has to offer. And they're not done yet! Stay tuned for what's to come in 2020!
