Law enforcement searching for Gretna stabbing suspect

GRETNA, Neb. (KMTV) — Sarpy County authorities are looking for a suspect who fled the scene of a stabbing in Gretna Sunday.

Sarpy County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a residence in Gretna around 2 p.m. after reports of a physical disturbance.

Upon arrival, one victim was encountered with non-life threatening injuries from a stabbing.

The suspect, Rocky L. Whitman Jr., fled the scene prior to the arrival of deputies.

Whitman is described as a white male, 6'2", 160 lbs with brown hair and a goatee.

Anyone with information on his location is asked to contact Sarpy County Crimestoppers at 402-592-STOP.

Information leading to Whitman's arrest is subject to a cash reward and tips can be made anonymously.
