Nebraska Passport Program set to begin June 1

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — We are now learning new details about an effort to get more Nebraskans to visit tourist sites in their own state.

Nebraska Tourism announced the Nebraska Passport Program will now begin on June 1.

It comes after officials delayed that start twice because of the coronavirus response.

Last year, Nebraska Tourism says travelers spent nearly $24 million at featured destinations.
