Omaha Police respond to two shootings overnight

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — One female and one male were injured in separate shootings overnight Saturday.

Officers responded to 12th & Harney St. at 1:49 a.m. after hearing the sound of one gunshot, OPD says. Officers located a male victim with a gunshot wound.

The victim, 19-year-old Ja'Vion Milton, was transported to Nebraska Medical Center with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

OPD responded to another shooting at 3520 Lake St. at 3:18 a.m.

Upon arrival, officers were processing a scene where a vehicle was struck by gunfire. While there, officers became aware of a walk-in shooting victim who arrived at Nebraska Medical Center.

Officers met with a female victim, 31-year-old Martinque Hubbard, who had been shot in her right big toe.

There are no suspect descriptions at this time.
