Missing man with dementia found safe

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — UPDATE JULY 24 7:35 A.M.: Leo Pezdirtz has been located and is safe.

ORIGINAL STORY

Omaha Police are asking for help locating 85-year-old Leo Pezdirtz. Nebraska State Patrol has issued an Endangered Missing Advisory to help determine his whereabouts.

He suffers from dementia and was last seen Tuesday at 11 a.m. near his residence on the 3600 block of S 75th St.

Pezdirtz is 5'10", 140 lbs, has a thin build, white hair, hazel eyes and unknown clothing.

He is possibly driving a red 1999 Honda CR-V with Nebraska plate VRC600. He's known to frequent the area of 90th and Center along with the Platte River area in Sarpy County.

Omaha Police asks anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact 9-11 or 402-444-5818.
