One critically injured in crash

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — One suffered critical, life-threatening internal injuries in a two-vehicle crash overnight Sunday near Fontenelle Blvd and NW Radial Hwy.

Officers responded to the area at 1;28 a.m.

Investigation revealed a 2017 Chevy Malibu was northbound on Fontenelle Blvd just north of NW Radial when it was struck by a 2005 Kia Sedona going southbound.

The Kia continued onto the median after the crash, where it struck a flagpole and a stone monument. The unrestrained driver was ejected, according to Omaha Police.

Both drivers were transported to Nebraska Medicine by OFD Medics. The crash is currently under investigation.

The Chevy driver was identified as Mary J. Miller, 49. She suffered a broken wrist.

The driver of the Kia, identified as Paul J. Lee, 46. He suffered critical internal injuries that are considered life-threatening.
