One dead after shooting near 32nd & L St

UPDATE 5:00 P.M. OCTOBER 11: Jacobi Terry -- the teen charged as an adult in the homicide -- now has no bond.

Investigators have added charges of Conspiracy to commit robbery x2 and assault -- they believe Terry along with another man planned it.

Terry now faces a total of five counts.

Following the murder, Terry and Box are believed to have attempted another robbery where an unidentified man was shot and suffered paralysis in his leg-- officials say that man wasn't the intended target.

Box's bond was set at $500,000 and he is now charged with conspiracy to commit robbery x2 and attempted robbery. Police arrested Box for a separate warrant two days ago.

UPDATE 9:50 A.M. OCTOBER 8: 17-year-old Jacobi Terry has been arrested for the murder of Bahy Altairi. Terry is in the Douglas County Youth Center for Murder and Use Of A Gun to commit a felony.

Omaha Police issued a comment from Chief Todd Schmaderer:

"Crime Stoppers was instrumental in solving this case. I want to thank the community for providing anonymous tips that led our department to arrest and charge the suspect". Chief Todd Schmaderer

One person is dead following a shooting near 32nd & L St Wednesday evening, according to Omaha Police dispatch.

The victim has been identified as 21-year-old Bahy Altairi.

OPD sent out a tweet with a picture of the suspect. Anybody with information is asked to call OPD homicide unit or Crimestoppers, information is below.

Crimestoppers is offering a $25,000 reward for tips leading to an arrest.
