One person dead following West Center accident

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The Douglas County Sheriff's office has confirmed that Robert O'Brien has died.

The two vehicles involved where a Chevy Impala and a pickup truck. Upon arrival, officers saw the pickup on its side and the Impala on the north side of the road. Michelle Cryne, the driver of the Impala, had been stopped eastbound on West Center with its turn signal on before being rear-ended by the pickup truck, driven by Nicholas Glenning. O'Brien was a passenger in the Impala.

A dog located in the rear passenger seat of the car died upon impact. The DCSO is currently investigating the cause of the accident.

ORIGINAL STORY

According to authorities on the scene, one is in critical condition and was transported to a hospital following a rollover accident near 22930 West Center Rd.

Two vehicles were involved in the accident which happened around 2:50 p.m.

The other vehicle involved had two occupants--both refused hospital transport.
