OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — If you're going to be out and about today, there's a few things to keep in mind when it comes to parking.
Park Omaha says they will be back to some regular parking enforcement, which include things like blocking traffic or a fire hydrant. These violations will result in an immediate citation.
Expired meters will not be enforced at this time, but that violation will start again June 1. Overtime parking will result in one warning followed by a citation on second offense starting on this date.
They say shared curbside pickup for downtown restaurants will be available in most areas and you can find these areas at https://www.parkomaha.com/.

Effective Monday, May 18, parking enforcement operations will resume almost entirely except for enforcement of expired meters, which will resume June 1. All long-term parking must be moved off-street to encourage turnover at meters.
