OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — OPPD crews are working to restore power to thousands of customers Saturday morning.

The affected area in Omaha is bound by Childs Rd on the north, Potter Rd on the south, Rudgewood Dr on the east and Fort Crook Rd on the west, according to OPPD.

A large tree has fallen, taking down six power lines. OPPD says this is a complicated repair that could take four to six hours.

Other scattered, small outages have been reported elsewhere around the service territory after early morning storms came through.
