LINCOLN, Neb. (KMTV) — Gage Capone, a 57-year-old inmate of Tecumseh State Correctional Institution, died early Tuesday at Bryan Medical Center-West.
Capone's sentence started Feb. 10, 2017. He was serving 35 to 57 years for making terroristic threats and was sentenced as a habitual criminal.
The cause of death has not yet been determined.
Whenever an inmate dies in the custody of the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services, a grand jury conducts an investigation.
