OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Two Omaha Police officers have recovered after collapsing near a police cruiser on Thursday, but it's still unclear why it happened.
According to an OPD spokesperson, the officers became lightheaded and collapsed.
Both were transported to CHI Health Immanuel Hospital where they were treated and released.
The Omaha Fire Department hazmat checked out the cruiser but didn't find anything unusual with it; however, OPD is having a full inspection done on the vehicle.
