OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The victim of an overnight cutting near 34th and Seward sustained non-life threatening injuries, keeping the details surrounding the incident to himself.

Officers responded to the cutting call at 3:46 a.m. Sunday, initially unable to locate a victim.

Officers eventually located 25-year-old James Brimmer, walking in an alley.

Police lost sight of Brimmer, eventually locating him at 3417 Seward. Brimmer refused to come out of the residence to discuss the incident with officers and refused medical treatment.

Brimmer eventually went to Nebraska Medical Center where officers went to speak with him. Brimmer again refused to tell officers any details, OPD says.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact Omaha Crime Stoppers at 402-444-STOP.
