Woman shot in Benson, authorities search for suspect

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — A 39-year-old woman was injured in a shooting in Benson early Sunday.

Officers responded to 6201 Maple St at 2:07 a.m. to investigate multiple shots fired reports.

Police located 39-year-old Teleah Ervin near 63rd and Maple with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

Medics transported Ervin in critical condition to the Nebraska Medical Center.
