Bryan Health: People 50-89 make up highest percentage of those hospitalized with COVID-19

LINCOLN, Neb. (KMTV) — On Thursday, Bryan Health held a briefing on COVID-19 trends in its hospitals and showed the highest positivity rates among those currently hospitalized with the virus were people ages 50-89.

Hospitalization ages and rates for October:

  • 10-19 - 0%
  • 20-29 - 1.92%
  • 30-39 - 2.56%
  • 40-49 - 3.85%
  • 50-59 - 10.9%
  • 60-69 - 26.92%
  • 70-79 - 32.05%
  • 80-89 - 19.23%
  • Over 90 - 2.56%
