NEBRASKA
LINCOLN-LANCASTER COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT
- 29 additional positive cases for a total of 2,430 cases
- Number of deaths remains at 14
DOUGLAS COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT
- 24 additional positive COVID-19 cases for a total of 8,742 cases
- 630 cases reported this week compared to 560 cases reported last week
- The health department has received test results from 9005 people versus 6,452 the week before
- The positivity rate is lower - 7.0% this week compared to 8.68% last week
- No additional deaths for a total of 113 deaths
- 5,614 people have recovered
- As of Saturday, metro hospitals had 251 medical and surgical beds available for an 81% occupancy rate
- 71 patients hospitalized with COVID-19
- Of 363 available ventilators, 16 were being used for COVID-19 patients
NEBRASKA DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONAL SERVICES
- A staff member with the Nebraska State Penitentiary has tested positive for COVID-19
- They are self-isolating
- Total number of NDCS staff members diagnosed with COVID-19 is now 30
- 20 of those individuals have recovered
