NEBRASKA

  • 6,771 total cases
  • 86 total deaths

THOMAS COUNTY

  • First case reported

ADAMS COUNTY

  • One death reported Wednesday

COLFAX COUNTY

  • One death reported Wednesday

THREE RIVERS HEALTH DEPARTMENT

  • 12 new cases for a total of 172 to date
  • All of the cases announced today are Dodge County Residents

Cases to date by county:

  • Dodge County: 138 cases
  • Washington County: 23 cases
  • Saunders County: 11 cases

CENTRAL DISTRICT HEALTH DEPARTMENT

  • 1 additional death reported Wednesday in Hall County
  • 17 cases in Merrick County
  • 52 cases in Hamilton County
  • 1,290 in Hall County
  • 1,359 cases total in health jurisdiction, 40 total deaths

DOUGLAS COUNTY

  • 97 new cases of COVID-19
  • 1,108 cases total
  • 17th death confirmed in the county. A man in his 40s has died.
  • 519 medical surge beds were available and 84 patients were hospitalized with COVID-19.
  • Of the 347 ventilators available to area hospitals, 101 were in use, including 16 for confirmed COVID-19 patients.
  • DCHD has confirmed 106 county residents have recovered from the illness.

LINCOLN
Mayor Leirion Gaylor Baird and the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department (LLCHD) announced that 23 new lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Lincoln Wednesday morning, bringing the community total to 462.

  • 250 cases are community spread
  • 21 cases are travel-related
  • 31 cases are from direct contact
  • 139 cases have unknown origins
  • One case has been fatal

CHI HEALTH

  • 123 ICU beds in use, not all for COVID-19 patients
  • 14 ventilators in use, not all for COVID-19 patients
  • 39 COVID-19 positive patients admitted in Omaha and Council Bluffs
  • 57 COVID-19 positive patients admitted outside Omaha and Council Bluffs

IOWA

  • Additional 293 cases for a total of 10,404 cases
  • Additional 2,309 negative tests for a total of 52,767 negative tests to date
  • 414 currently hospitalized, 3,803 Iowans have recovered
  • 1 in 50 Iowans have been tested for COVID-19

12 additional deaths reported in the following counties:

  • Black Hawk County, 1 elderly adult (81+)
  • Clayton County, 1 elderly adult (81+)
  • Jasper County, 2 elderly adults (81+)

POTTAWATTAMIE COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH

  • 7 new cases involving 6 Council Bluffs residents, 1 Crescent resident
  • Total cases in county now 69
  • 31 individuals have recovered
  • 35 self-isolating at home
  • 1 hospitalized
  • 2 deaths
