LINCOLN, Neb. (KMTV) — Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts signed an executive order Wednesday that deals with informing first responders of possible COVID-19 exposures.
The order lifts some restrictions to help law enforcement, firefighters and EMTs know about possible exposure before entering a home.
The order deals with giving out health information that might otherwise be private.
As 3 News Now has previously reported, groups like the Nebraska Fraternal Order of Police have been calling on the governor for such an action.
