PAPILLION, Neb. (KMTV) - Papillion La Vista Community Schools said on Tuesday that one staff member and five high school students have tested positive for coronavirus.

The students include a 9th grader, two 11th graders and two 12th graders.

The district says exposure at the school was "very limited" due to health precautions in place.

"If your child had any direct exposure to our positive case you would have been notified already," the district said in an update to families.

The district urges parents to continue to keep kids home if symptomatic and minimize large group gatherings outside of school.
