OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The latest numbers show seven new reported deaths over the weekend, totaling 150 deaths in the state.

There are also more than 700 new confirmed cases since Friday morning, pushing the total number past 12,000.

More than 3,000 of those cases are right here in Douglas County.

There's no drive-thru testing for the coronavirus today, but Douglas County health officials say the South Omaha testing site will be open from tomorrow through Saturday.

The hours are noon to5pm.

Despite the rise in total cases, health officials say the rate of positive tests has dropped from 14% to 11%.
