OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The coronavirus could shut down a summer tradition: county Fairs.

The governor says a team is looking at county fairs and other larger gatherings. That team is expected to make a recommendation soon.

"Folks, we're going to be managing this virus at least to the end of the year, if not into next year," Gov. Pete Ricketts said. "And that means gatherings of large groups of people are going to be restricted in some way. So even if county fairs are allowed to go on, they will not look like the county fairs did last year."
