UPDATE: OPD has identified the victim killed in the shooting as 35-year-old Suzanne Pope. and OPD has identified the second victim as 44-year-old Curtis Goodwin.
Someone was shot and killed at about 4:30 a.m. Saturday near 39th and Curtis Ave.
A second gunshot victim is undergoing surgery at Creighton Medical Center.
The Omaha Police Department says this is an active investigation and has not released further details.
A female was shot in the face and died and a male was shot in the torso and is in critical condition, reports the Omaha World-Herald.
