UPDATE: Victim identified as 18 year old Gustavo Soto of Omaha. So far no one has been arrested.
One person is dead following a reported shooting near 16th and Yates Monday night.
Omaha police say a resident living in nearby apartments reported hearing one shot just before 8 p.m. Monday. The witness says two people ran from the scene.
The Omaha Police Department's homicide team is on the scene. Police have not released the identity of the victim.
