LINCOLN, Neb. (KMTV) — The Lincoln Police Department (LPD) says they've arrested three people in connection to a home invasion that left one woman dead last week. They also say one of the suspected invaders was shot by the victim and later died.

The LPD says they arrested 29-year-old Rubin Thomas, 22-year-old Jesse Foster and 25-year old Sylvester LeBlance Jr. on first-degree murder charges for the alleged killing of Audrea Craig.

LPD says they were able to identify and track the men using witnesses and surveillance footage from the neighborhood where the invasion took place.

Minutes after police arrived at Craig's home, other officers arrived at Bryan West hospital for a report of a gunshot victim. There, 26-year-old Martae Green died after being brought in by the three murder suspects. They say Green was also identified in the surveillance footage and that the other suspects fled before police arrived at the hospital.

Police say further investigation revealed that Craig armed herself during the invasion and shot Green.
