3 people arrested in Fremont shooting

Dodge County Sheriff deputies have arrested three people in connection to Sunday's shooting.

On Monday, Deputies arrested three people  as a result of the investigation into the shooting of Jason Marty.

Officials arrested 32-year-old William D. Cady, 31-year-old Andria N. Cady and 43-year-old Jacob Cross. 

Early Sunday morning, Dodge County Sheriffs deputies were dispatched to the BP Fuel Express, 1305 East Morningside Road, just south of Fremont, Nebraska, regarding a male subject who had driven to that location after being shot.

On arrival, deputies discovered that a gray 2002 Dodge Dakota pickup truck had come to a stop very near to the front entrance of the business and that the driver, 41-year-old Jason Marty, had been struck by gunfire.

Jason Marty was transported from the scene by Fremont Rescue Squad to Fremont Health Medical Center and later transported by medical helicopter to Nebraska Medicine. 

Marty is still in  the hospital at this time.

The trio were charged for several felony counts including attempted first-degree murder, accessory to a felony and use of weapon to commit a felony.
