At least 12 workers in custody after Madison, NE ICE raid

MADISON, Neb. (KMTV) — Lazaro Spindola, executive director of the Latino American Commission, confirmed that an ICE raid took place in Madison, NE on Wednesday morning.

At least twelve individuals were detained at D&D industry, a wood mulch company, and were taken into custody.

Madison High School will provide rooms for organizations willing to assist families.

UPDATE - 10/24/19 - Latino Commission Representative Lazaro Spindola provided the following information:

  • 14 people arrested: 11 from Mexico and three from Guatamala

Spindola says it is unclear why they were arrested.
