Aubrey Trail was sentenced to 10 years for his role in a coin scam unrelated to the death of SydneyLoofe, according to our partners at the Omaha World-Herald.
According to court documents, Trail and Bailey Boswell defrauded a Kansas couple out of close to $400,000 and either transported stolen goods or forced the couple to transport stolen goods, across state lines more than a dozen times.
During his sentencing, Trail said Sydney Loofe was involved in the scheme.
Earlier in the day, Boswell was sentenced to five years for her role.
