Omaha's 2016 Beautillion Gala is celebrating the achievements of young men who are college bound next fall.
The Beautillion is a long time tradition that serves as a rite of passage for young African American high school seniors...as an introduction to society.
Three scholarships were awarded to students who showed academic strength and community involvement.
The event is hosted by Beta Upsilon Chapter of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. This year's theme was "Empire State of Mind."
