BELLEVUE, Neb. (KMTV) — The City of Bellevue has issued an update regarding closures in the area.

Green Acres and Paradise Lake are currently closed and are expected to remain closed for an extended period. The neighborhoods are taking on a large amount of water and some utilities have been turned off in the area.

Rescue personnel are continuing to help those trapped near the impacted locations, which will be patrolled by law enforcement 24/7 to prevent people from entering.

Harlan Lewis Road is now closed from 27th Ave to the south. Haworth and American Heroes parks are still closed. Highway 370 (Mission Ave) also remains closed, east of Warren Street.

The Bellevue Police Department, Fire Department, and Public Works Department continues to monitor the situation.
