Sarpy County officials say that a  Bellevue school bond has passed.

Ballots had to be turned in by 5 p.m Tuesday.

According to officials, 50.91% voted yes  compared to the 49.09% who voted no.

The 76 million dollar bond issue would pay for safety and technology upgrades, building maintenance, as well as heating and air conditioning for the school district.

The bond would cost taxpayers about 16-dollars more per month on a 100-thousand-dollar-home.

The Sarpy County officials say the Canvass Board will meet on Friday to certify the final results.
