OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The Iowa State Patrol says an an SUV carrying Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds hit a Black Lives Matter protester.
It happened yesterday as protesters gathered to block the governor's car from leaving after her visit to Family Traditions in Northern Iowa.
About a dozen Black Lives Matter protesters weren't allowed into the governors event.
The man who was hit by the governors SUVsaid he wasn't hurt, but believes 100% that he was intentionally hit.
