OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) - At the end of January, Canfield's Sporting Goods is closing its doors after 71 years in business.
"Sadly, its the end of an era for the store," a release said. "The challenges and uncertain economic times, unusually warm winters and the ever-expanding competition of the online marketplace and decline of the 'big box' store have taken their tool."
Canfield's will have a two-month long going out of business sale that will end at the end of January.
"It's been a great joy to have served our local community for so many years," owner Scott Marble said. "Along with our wonderfully talented and loyal staff, we thank you for your friendship and support."
