The City of Omaha released the snow plan for Sunday snowfall.
Mayor Jean Stothert announced on Facebook that crews are pre-treating major and secondary streets with brine Saturday afternoon.
Her post went on to say: "At midnight, we will have 100 city plows on those main and secondary streets to plow and spread salt as the snow accumulates. The residential contractors will begin plowing neighborhood streets at 10 a.m."
The city has 20 companies under contract this year to work on snow removal in neighborhoods.
