Closings/restrictions downtown & elsewhere for 2-10 days

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — Omaha's Public Works Department says a number of road closures/restrictions will be in place downtown, in midtown and elsewhere starting today for 2-10 days.

They are:

  • Effective immediately, Fort Street will be restricted to one lane East bound at approximately North 109th Street due to closure of the outside lane for street repair by City of Omaha Street Maintenance and will be in effect for five (5) days.
  • Beginning Friday, July 19, 2019, at 9:00 a.m., South 20th Street will be restricted to two lanes South bound at Farnam Street for street repair by NL & L Concrete, Inc. and will be in effect for seven (7) days.
  • Beginning Friday, July 19, 2019, at 9:00 a.m., South 19th Street between Harney Street and Farnam Street will have various restrictions for street repair by NL & L Concrete, Inc. and will be in effect for seven (7) days.
  • Beginning Friday, July 19, 2019, at 9:00 a.m., Hartman Avenue between North 66th Street and North 68th Street will be closed for street repair by NL & L Concrete, Inc. and will be in effect for two (2) days.
  • Beginning Friday, July 19, 2019, at 9:00 a.m., South 17th Street between Howard Street and Harney Street will have various lane restrictions for street repair by NL & L Concrete and will be in effect for six (6) days.
  • Beginning Friday, July 19, 2019, at 9:00 a.m., South 31st Street will be restricted to one lane South bound at Dewey Avenue due to closure of the outside lane for utility work by Metropolitan Utilities District and will be in effect for ten (10) days.
