Closures/restrictions on/at 84th, 72nd and Maple and more

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — You may want to choose a different route home today. Omaha's Public Works Department has announced several closings and lane restrictions. They will be at: the intersection of 72nd and Maple Streets, 84th Street near Children's Hospital, 32nd Avenue near Gold Street, 90th off of Dodge, 24th Street off of Chicago and F Street at 150th.

The announced closures/restrictions are:

  • Beginning Friday, June 28, 2019, at 9:00 a.m., North 84th Street between West Dodge Road and Indian Hills Drive will be closed for skywalk placement by JE Dunn Construction and will be in effect for two (2) days.
  • Beginning Friday, June 28, 2019, at 9:00 a.m., the intersection of North 72nd Street and Maple Street will have various lane restrictions for utility work by MUD and will be in effect for two (2) months.
  • Beginning Friday, June 28, 2019, at 9:00 a.m., South 32nd Avenue between Gold Street and Valley Street will have various lane restrictions for utility adjustments by NL&L and will be in effect for two (2) days.
  • Beginning Friday, June 28, 2019, at 9:00 a.m., North 90th Street between Embassy Row and West Dodge Road will be restricted to one lane Southbound for fiber optic installation in the outside curb lane by Greenleaf Tree and Landscaping and will be in effect for one (1) day.
  • Beginning Friday, June 28, 2019, at 9:00 a.m., North 24th Street will be restricted to one lane Northbound at Chicago Street for ADA repair in the outside curb lane by Bayshore Contractors and will be in effect for two (2) days.
  • Beginning Friday, June 28, 2019, at 9:00 a.m., F Street will be restricted under flagger operation at South 150th Street for fiber optic installation by MP NexLevel and will be in effect for one (1) day.
