Community Corrections Center-Omaha inmate missing

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) - An inmate is missing from Community Corrections Center-Omaha.

The Nebraska Department of Corrections says Michael Terry was discovered to be missing shortly before 9 p.m. Saturday.

Terry is 35 years old and is described as 6-feet tall and 190 pounds with black hair and blue eyes.

Terry started serving his sentence on March 3, 2020. He is serving four years for two counts of possession of a controlled substance out of Douglas County. His tentative release date is August 14, 2021.

Anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts is asked to contact local authorities or the Nebraska State Patrol.

Community Corrections Center-Omaha is a community custody facility. Inmates are allowed to participate in work opportunities, attend school and religious services with prior approval and without direct supervision.
